Why the summer needs its own campaign
In summer Cairo's audience does not only leave the city, it leaves the city's boards. People spending weekends on the coast drive the same Desert Road and Alamein road every time and spend their days in a handful of places: Marina, Sidi Abdel Rahman, Ras El Hekma and El Dabaa. Boards there reach a high-income audience with time on its hands, which is what real estate, restaurants, cars and banks are after.
Supply is limited: 666 listed boards on the whole North Coast against 6,371 in Cairo. That is why the season's boards are booked early, and usually for the whole season.
