Frequently asked questions

How much does a billboard cost per month in Egypt?

The median published asking price is EGP 32,000 a month, across 81 boards whose owners posted a price. Small street boards up to 12 m² have a median of EGP 15,000, large boards over 50 m² EGP 40,000, and digital screens EGP 38,000.

How does the calculator work out the budget?

It takes the middle half of published prices for the format you chose in your city (first to third quartile) and multiplies by the number of boards and months. The median is multiplied the same way.

Does the price include printing and VAT?

No. These are monthly rental asking prices. Printing and installation for printed boards, and VAT, usually come on top, and the final price is agreed with the board owner.

Why does it sometimes use prices from all cities?

When a city has fewer than 5 published prices for a format, that is too few to rely on, so the calculator uses the format's prices across Cairo, Giza and Alexandria and says so under the result.

How much is a Ring Road unipole?

8×24 m unipoles, the Ring Road standard, ranged from EGP 28,000 – 95,000 a month, with a median of EGP 49,000 (10 listings).
